All international students are required to carry the University Student Health Insurance policy unless you have equal to or greater coverage from another US based company. Foreign-based policies are not accepted. UC insurance will be included on your tuition bill each semester.

If you find another policy, you will have to “waive (say no to) UC insurance.” If you do not waive the UC insurance, you will be billed for it. For instructions on how to waive UC Health Insurance, see: Waive UC Insurance
